I have observed that players always tilt more in cash games. And I think it is because they always have the notion that they can always rebut if they peradventure they lose their stacks. And it is always a risk of leading to more financial losses.
I think players tilt more in tournaments than cash game. Tournament need extreme mental strength to play until the competition finish or you are eliminated. Some players have to take enough rest before major poker tournaments and still have to have rest after the tournament.
Yeah, I think so. In tournaments, when you bust, you are out of it--there is no opportunity to continue and keep digging. People will continue to stick their hands into their pockets as long as they have cash, which only contributes to the tilt cycle.
From my journey in poker, I have seen far more tilts in cash games far more than tournaments. Players are not always acting with common sense when they lose a big pot in cash games. The money is immediately available. So why not? Emotional over debts is almost a constant feature of cash games.
