If you are interested in building your bankroll, patience is the real cheat code. When I started, I was in a rush too much and I lost everything very quickly. Now I just play low stakes, chase small wins, and withdraw often. I even keep a separate account just for gambling so I won't mix with the money that is meant for my bills. To be fair, it’s not about luck alone as you need discipline too.

Excessive playing ruins the plan of building a better bankroll. This is the reason I would always say that having the plan of when to play should be paramount for anyone looking to achieve the desired results.

That's really solid advice, especially keeping gambling money completely separate from bills. The patience part is what most people struggle with everyone wants to hit big fast, but that's how you go broke. Playing low stakes and actually withdrawing wins instead of reinvesting everything is smart bankroll management. Discipline beats luck in the long run for sure.

Knowing your limits in terms of what you can afford to lose is crucial. One of the things that one should focus on when it comes to building a bankroll from scratch is ensuring that one is disciplined. It is a way that you can achieve your desired goal at the end of the day.

I have seen a lot of people build their bankroll by starting small, don't stake a high amount of money if you are really interested in building your bankroll. So, the key is to start small. Don’t jump into big stakes from the start. Use micro stakes, play smart, and always track your results. Also, study the game by watching the videos, read strategy articles, and review your hands. Another thing is that you shouldn't be tempted to rebuy too often because discipline is key. And save a portion of your earnings, don’t ever try to gamble it all. I think these are the best method to approach, they might be slow from the start, but it's the better way to build a bankroll in a steady manner

It's not a must to keep playing all the time. Knowing when to stop and take a break is a good management strategy which helps to build and preserve a player's bankroll. If you keep playing when losing streak is too hard to break away from, nothing will be left to fall back on.

You would have to start by playing freerolls. Once you accumulate $5, or $10 from freerolls start at the lowest stakes, and work your way up.

I recommend 55 cent buy-ins, especially if your a new player. Learn to dominate those stakes, before you move up. I also recommend getting good at one game, if you're going to play tournaments, play tournaments. Cash games, and tournaments have different approaches to how you play, and you need to adjust your game accordingly.

Greed is the biggest threat to your bankroll as a poker player. If you're always thinking about winning big, it's the quickest way to blowing up all your money. Trim down on your greed as low as possible and see how you get better at bankroll management.
