For me, once I feel that stress is building up, I just blast music or go for a walk. Sometimes I even gist with my one of my friends about random things, and the pressure will keep down gradually. I don’t like overthinking what I know that I can’t fix immediately, so I just look for an escape route.

I might blast some music, go for a walk or just chat with a friend about random things. Overthinking stuff you can’t change right away only makes it worse. Taking a break helps me reset and feel calmer and I always love to play music as well.

I find that I deal with stress and anxiety a lot, and all too often, when that happens, it affects my health condition, meaning I end up in more pain than I should be.

I have found walking away from situations that are causing me stress and anxiety has been the best thing I have done. I will instead go off and do something else to take my mind off things for a while, such as playing games or even watching TV shows or movies I enjoy. Music also helps me a lot when I get stressed and anxious.

I can relate to that. When stress or anxiety hits, stepping away is the best move. Doing something else like watching a show, listening to music or just zoning out for a bit really helps take the edge off. It’s amazing how much a little break can reset your head and even ease the physical tension.

Everyone's different but I think finding what actually works for you is key. Some people swear by exercise like going for a run or hitting the gym clears their head. Others need quieter stuff like meditation, deep breathing or just sitting somewhere peaceful for a bit.

You really have to avoid those things that cause you stress. It is good that you are a video games lover. Video games are one of the very effective ways to immediately switch your mind from mental stressors. I use it to great effect too when things really plague my mind.

True talk. Video games work like magic sometimes and once you are playing a good game, your mind would normally shift away from whatever is stressing you out.

Video games have a great way of allowing you to immerse yourself and forget about everything for a while. Overthinking is one thing that can cause stress and anxiety to worsen, and because of that, not feeling guilty for shutting off should be normal and not something you feel guilty for.

Trying to relax is the best way to deal with anxiety. If the person can relax and remove themselves from what's causing them the anxiety, they are going to feel better almost immediately.

I know how to switch off on everything whenever the tension of stress and anxiety is becoming too much for me to handle. Isolating myself have always worked in these situation for me.
