What has been the most disappointing moment for you while making money online?

Well, I have worked for clients who refused to pay. Some clients simply vanished and they never paid me. Moreover, certain online money making opportunities are not available everywhere. This was one of the most disappointing moment when it comes to making money online. So, what has been your disappointing moment while making money online?

Any that involved putting in a lot of time with zero payout. It has been awhile since I've encountered one of those, but they're rout there.

One client from Upwork just ghost me after I delivered the work. Since then I don't send the work I have completed without receiving payment. Online money is sweet sometimes but the disappointment can hit you so deeply.

That would be when I withdrew my earnings via a third potty and I was scammed. That was the only way I could be paid by the client then, and I worked hard for the money.
But the person that picked it up for me to exchange scammed me totally.

I once was earning money from a survey site called Inbox Dollars. They had a minimum for when you can pay out and it was pretty high, it was $20. I was super close and hadn't logged into my account in a long time. I unfortunately lost my earnings and had to start all over. I just stopped using their platform after that.

Making money online isn't a challenge for me. I have been doing it for over a decade. What is challenging for me is making money on a consistent basis. The most disappointing thing for me is meeting my target earning every month.

Losing my bankroll in seconds after spending weeks or even months building it through online poker was one of the toughest lessons I’ve learned. Thankfully, I’m much more disciplined now, and those days are well behind me.

One of the most disappointing moments for me was when I was working online, and I was working for a client, and they just suddenly decided to close the forum without any warning and refused to pay me after I had almost completed their order.

I am now very cautious when it comes to working for clients, and tend to prefer to receive payment upfront, unless I know that they are reliable.

For me it is working and not getting paid and some getting paid but not on time. Some site admins are very annoying as they don't care about the posters and writers need.
