I've had it happen with AA. I don't remember what game I was playing when it happened. It hasn't happened to me in awhile.

Have you ever been disconnected when you were trying to play a hand? What site were you playing?

I was once way back in the day on PokerStars. I had gone all in and lost my connection. i was pleasantly surprised to return to a healthy stack. I can't remember the game or how it ended. I only recall the angst in the room as I had a few friends over. Good times.

Yes I have and it’s very annoying my friend when that happens

It's like that happens with PokerStars more often because I had the same experience with it too. Unfortunately, I wasn't lucky like you were because my stack was gravely affected.

Yeah, internet went out at a bad time or cat pulled at the ethernet cable. It happens from time to time :(

It has happened to me before. Getting disconnected during a big hand could be very nasty. Some say, some platforms are more prone to disconnections than others, but I don't know how true it is. I do know that good internet connection and using reliable platforms would minimize those interruptions.

This has happened to me a couple of times but fault was with my own Internet connection rather than the site itself..

Mine happened during one hand years back and till today I still remember the anger. The network just disappeared like it was punishing me personally. By the time the connection came back, hand has folded automatically. The annoying part is that you can't even explain to anybody because poker doesn't listen to network excuses.
