What are tips/tricks that you'd recommend to grow your following on social media?

I've been following a lot of poker, and sports related accounts on Twitter/X that follow a lot of other accounts to increase the likeliness that I get a follow back.

You need to find a list of well known poker influencers and engage them early on. Drop meaningful comments and also follow them, you will be noticed and your efforts will be reciprocated.

I haven't tried growing followers on social media on Poker niche but I have built pages on multiple social platforms on various niches. Based on my personal experience I can say, you need to create valuable content that are unique, educational, informational, and well as well created.

I don’t have social media pages for poker, and I also do not talk about poker on social media.but if you want to build followers, you need to publish tips, guides, and reviews.

That “follow for follow” strategy on X can grow numbers but it does not always build real community. I saw one poker page with 50k followers and only two comments 😂 People can smell forced engagement from far away. If you really want a poker audience, post genuine hands, painful bad beats, funny moments, even losses as well. People connect more with honesty than fake things

There's always a chance to learning one or two things from social media platforms. The real task is being able to find the right people to follow who are going give you the legit information to learn from.

I think the best way is to share real poker experiences rather than only posting big wins. Hand breakdowns, mistakes you learned from, bankroll challenges, and honest opinions might help you gain followers and engagement.

if you want to build followers, you need to publish tips, guides, and reviews.

I know so many people who created Telegram channel and publish tips, and guides for poker players. His channel have more than 50k members.
