How long would you stay off from playing online with your account before it's going to be frozen and needing verification for it to be reactivated again? I have stayed off playing with my online accounts for too long to experience this account freezing.

Do you think it's necessary for this verification after being being off for a while before you can use your account again?

I can say I have ever experienced account freezing but I can understand why they may do it and how it is more for safety than an inconvenience.

My accounts are currently frozen at the bigger sites because I need to verify my ID, and prove I'm from Ontario.

I'm not really sure, I have never experienced my account being frozen on a poker site before. What could be the cause of that?

Most poker site are known to freeze accounts in the name of security. It can be due to someone attempting to log in from a different location, or due to large sums of money going into or out of the account. It can also occur, if one violates the rules of the site.

Hrmmm, nah, that has never happened before. I make sure to don't do anything that would cause issues.

I haven’t had my accounts frozen. I’ve been fortunate in this situation.

My account has been flagged before I think it was due to suspicious activity on my account but after I verified my identity, the issue was resolved immediately.

I had that happen too, because I had my roommate sign up to a poker site with the same IP, but it was sorted out quickly. All my funds were locked until my account was unfrozen. I've also had my laptop freeze while I was playing online poker, because Windows 11 uses up too much memory/RAM.

I had that happen because I forgot my info after being offline a while, made another acct because I could not find original info, BUT I sent them email and explained all this, and THEN they froze my account and had to verify with a bunch of info from like 6 years ago and finally they deleted the new and I was able to go back on with the original account. At first I was pissed because I was THE ONE that brought to their attention but after about 6 emails or so back and forth, it was resolved.

My account hasn't been frozen. I have done Verification if it is required for withdrawal or deposit. I don’t involve in any kind of fraudulent activities

Frozen? Never. I am very cautious about joining poker sites and I always read rules and guidelines

I think most online sites where money is invested used to freeze accounts whenever they notice any signs of suspicious activity. They're doing that to safeguard the user's account.

My accounts haven't been frozen. Most of the time account gets frozen due to verification issue. Therefore, I always do verification before I deposit my money. I do not want any troubles during withdrawal

It's only a scam poker website that would just wake up one day and start freezing their players account especially when they see so many players have lots of money to cash out.
