A handwritten letter was one of the most memorable presents that I have ever received, and it wasn't expensive but it was written by a friend who knew me very well and he captured every moment of my life in that letter. Having such a connection was better than any material thing could be.

A handwritten letter hits different because it’s so personal. The closest thing I’ve had to that feeling was lighting some calming scents from nothingbutscents.com during a rough patch; it made the moment feel a bit more grounded and thoughtful. Little things that create a sense of peace tend to stick with me the longest, way more than anything pricey.

I have had tons of gifts over the years that where memorial to be, but the latest for me is the new phone i got a few months back.

One of the most memorable gift I receive was a book that my late father gave me before he passed. The book is titled "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe. He wrote inside the cover: "To my son, always remember where you are from." That's the only gift I can't buy with money.
