Still, it should be noted that the attribute of cryptocurrency is to make us have open access to the financial services. Similarly, the decentralization of cryptocurrencies opens up a lot of opportunities to regain control of our money as there are no third party interference.

What do you think is the role of cryptocurrency in the fight against financial inequality?

When it comes to financial inequality, I think crypto has helped by giving opportunities for people in any place to work remotely and get paid. That helps to eliminate financial inequality between people from different regions of the world.

Cryptocurrency is bridging the gap between advanced countries and third world countries. Cryptocurrency is gradually turning the world to a global village. Now, with cryptocurrency you can receive payment from anywhere and anytime. You don't have to wait for all forms of government and banks approvals before cashing out.

Popular belief is crypto will give financial power to common people. however, I think this is an overstatement. THose who can profit from crypto are the ones who have a lot of money who can either invest in the coins or set of mining rig to earn more

Remote jobs wouldn't have been possible for people in Africa and other lower tier regions to participate in and get paid. Crypto came in as a method of payment and made it possible for these people to be part of the global remote economy.

Cryptocurrency can help reduce financial inequality by giving more people access to payments and financial tools without traditional banks. But its impact depends on accessibility, regulation, and education, because without those, it can just create new gaps instead of closing old ones.

Cryptocurrency has the potential to reduce financial inequality by giving people access to digital financial services. However, limited internet access, price volatility, scams, and technical barriers mean it hasn't consistently benefited those who are financially disadvantaged.
