Sometimes one random quote can reset your whole brain. I’m not even someone that reads heavy books like that, but the Marcus Aurelius’ “you have power over your mind…” line hit me that year. Even Achebe too, his way of breaking things down still inspires me up till now. It’s very funny how thinkers from decades ago still talk to you like they understand today’s situation.

So I’m curious, do you have any philosopher, writer, or even modern speaker that genuinely inspires you?

I wouldn't say Elon Musk is a philosopher but the man is a genius. I love him so much and what he's doing for this country and our world in general. Some people see his as a douchbag but all I see is a smart entrepreneur.

The stoic philosophy inspires me a lot. The stoic philosophy has helped me a lot when it comes to dealing with life problems. Stoics teach that you should focus on aspects of life that you could control and stop overthinking about things that you cannot control.

I don't have a favorite one but I love philodpers with philosophical questions and answers. They do inspired me a lot and I draw strength from their thoughts.

Friedrich Nietzsche is my favorite thinker and philosopher. He really taught people to embrace anything they go through as building blocks to grow bigger. He popularised the quote, "what doesn't kill me makes me stronger".

I like Chinua Achebe. His books shows the Nigerian experience in a way that no other writer can do. He talked about our culture, our struggles, our resilience. Another person that inspire me is Fela Kuti.
