Personally, I love seeing players succeed, especially those that I consider friends. I’m an open book when it comes to discussing strategy on PCF. I believe it only makes our community better when our members are crushing the felt.

For me, sharing knowledge is one of the most rewarding parts of being involved in poker. Whether it's talking through hand histories, discussing bankroll management, or offering a few pointers to newer players, I’m always happy to help when I can.

Some players worry that helping others improve creates tougher competition, but I see it differently. A stronger, more knowledgeable community benefits everyone and leads to better discussions, better games, and more growth as players.

So yes, I like to share pointers and help our community succeed. How about you?

I am certainly willing to help but sadly I am no expert. In fact, I am also a learner. Having said that if a complete novice asks for guidance I am always ready to help

Me too. I like to help others, by helping other I also help myself. That's because when I help others, I also learn something new. However, I am not very good player and unless someone is completely new, I cannot help people who are already playing poker.

I actually respect people who share knowledge a lot. A lot of folks behave like every strategy tip is a state secret. Meanwhile, stronger players create stronger communities. Back when I was learning, one experienced guy pointed out a mistake I kept making and it saved me plenty of money.

If someone asks, I'm happy to share my thoughts or talk through a hand after the game. I wouldn't offer advice during play, though. Everyone learns differently, and I don't want to influence decisions or take away from the experience.
