Have you successfully built a bankroll starting from freerolls or no-deposit bonuses?

I actually built my first small bankroll from freerolls. It wasn't fast at all, but it forced me to value every chip. Most people quit because the rewards seem was little, but that's where discipline grows.

No, I haven't. I've heard of players doing it successfully, but I never built a bankroll from freerolls or no-deposit bonuses. It takes a lot of patience and I don't have it.

When I was new, I actually believed that I could actually build bankroll through freerolls. However, as I continued playing, I understood that they have a lot of wagering rules, and it is extremely difficult to build bankrolls with freerolls

I have never done it but I've always thought it's an interesting challenge. It takes a lot of patience and discipline. while I haven't done it myself, I have a lot of respect for players who manage to build a bankroll that way.

While I think the experience you gain from freerolls is invaluable, especially because there's often a lot of "donkey" action that's very different from what you see in higher buy-in tournaments, they can be an excellent learning tool. I built my bankroll from freerolls on almost every site I've played. I do make deposits when there are worthwhile bonuses, but I also enjoy the challenge of building a bankroll from nothing and proving to myself that I can do it.

I learned a great deal from making deep runs in freerolls. They teach you how to identify and capitalize on the mistakes other players make. Once you get deep into a tournament, whether it's a freeroll or not, most players are trying to bring their A-game. That experience is valuable and carries over well to higher-stakes tournaments.
