    Whenever I drop below 20 buy-ins, I move down in stakes. I become much stricter with my bankroll management if I'm playing higher stakes, unless I’m taking a shot in a tournament above my usual bankroll.

    I think it’s better to grind micro stakes and move up as your bankroll grows. That said, I do like to reward myself occasionally by taking a shot at a bigger buy-in when I’ve been running well. Which do you think is better, grinding micro stakes or taking shots at bigger buy-ins?

    I think to play poker full-time, you need at least $1,000–$2,000 so you can comfortably afford your stakes, probably more if you’re playing live. What do you think?
