Do you think mindset matters more than skill at low stakes?

Mindset is important but I do not think mindset is more important than skills. I believe the best approach is to keep your mindset and skills in balance. Without right skill, how can you perform well with just the right mindset.

Internet connection is one of the major disadvantages of playing poker online, you need high speed internet connection without any interruptions. Online poker is comparatively fast, and if you are below average player, you will run into losing streak. This is another disadvantage.

I wouldn't want someone to watch me as I play online. I have a lot of privacy concern, especially with using webcam. I don't think it is good.

Should players that use a VPN be banned from poker sites?

if the site isn't available in your region and you use VPN to bypass the restrictions, how do you suppose to withdraw your winnings? You need to do KYC if you want to withdraw, and using a VPN will make it difficult. I believe VPN shouldn't be used.

I used to play a lot in the past but not much these days. It is not that I don't like playing online but since I lose most of the time (because I am not very good at it), I started limiting my online play.

I like Barcelona and Manchester United but I don't watch professional football much. I like to watch World Cup and Euro Cup, sometimes Copa America. Football (or soccer, as it is called in the US), isn't popular in the United States, but the national teams, especially women team are pretty good...

How do you play against someone who is clearly using a solver on their phone?

If someone is using a solver, it will put them in better position than people who aren't using solver. I do not want to play a game where I see someone at better advantage. I will leave the game immediately.

What’s one strategy "myth" you believed when you first started?

"Everything us under my control and I can get out without major losses as I will not chase loss" This mind set is present in a lot of people and I also thought the same way. However, once you start playing, you will get carried away and you start making emotional decision one after another.

Totally agree, the image you represent is under your control. However, most of the time, people are easily carried away while playing, and they end up becoming someone they never want to become. Most people make emotional decision, and they give an impression that they are emotional fool.

Poll How often do you study poker?

I don't study poker because I have no desire to become a professional player. After all poker is a kind of gambling, and gambling can never be a profession. However, I do like to learn new tricks now and then so that when I play, I might win.

How important is bankroll management in order to be a winning player?

Just because you manage your bankroll well does not guarantee that you will win. However, when you are good at bankroll management, you are likely to win. The most important thing to win, or at least avoid loss, is the know where to increase your bet size and when to withdraw from the game.

Hey all.
