Do you have a pre-game routine before playing poker?

I like getting into the right mindset before playing poker. I usually make sure I’m not tired or distracted, grab a drink, and take a few minutes to settle in mentally. If I’m already stressed or irritated, I’d rather not play at all

Is "tipping the dealer" mandatory, even after a small pot?

No, it’s not mandatory in most places. Tipping is more of a live poker etiquette thing than a rule. After small pots, many players just skip it or throw a very small chip if they feel like it.

Can the poker dealer ever commit a blunder?

Yeah, dealers can make mistakes in poker. Misdeals, incorrect chip counts, exposing cards, or misreading action can all happen, especially in fast or busy games. In live poker, it’s usually corrected by the floor quickly, but even a small dealer error can change the flow of a hand.

Should casinos ban phones at the table entirely?

I don’t think a full ban is realistic or even necessary. Phones are part of how people live now, and players use them for music, quick notes, or even tracking hands. But I do think casinos should restrict active use during hands, especially anything that could involve coaching or outside help.

Do You Prefer Poker Over Blackjack?

Yeah, I definitely prefer poker over blackjack. Poker feels more skill-based since I’m playing against other people and making decisions that actually matter long term. Blackjack feels more like following fixed rules with the house edge always there, so it doesn’t really give the same level of...

What’s the best "non-poker" job that translates well to poker skills?

Things like trading, data analysis, or even sales help a lot because you’re constantly weighing risk, reading people, and working with incomplete information.

Do you trust online poker sites with your personal information?

You kind of have to trust reputable, licensed poker sites because KYC and payments are part of the process, but I still only use well-known platforms. If a site feels sketchy or too new, I’d rather skip it than risk my personal data.

Why Are Various Online Platforms Becoming Same.

Platforms are becoming more similar because once a feature proves it increases engagement or retention, competitors feel pressured to adopt it quickly rather than risk losing users. Originality is still valuable, but large tech companies often prioritize predictable growth over experimentation.

Should players that use a VPN be banned from poker sites?

I think it depends on why they’re using it. If someone is using a VPN for basic privacy, that’s understandable. But in online poker, VPNs can also be used to bypass regional restrictions or hide locations, which creates fairness and security issues. So I can understand why many poker sites take...

Do you trust online poker sites with your personal information?

I trust the bigger, licensed poker sites more than smaller unknown ones, but I’m still careful with personal information online in general. Since poker sites require KYC and payment verification, you kind of have to trust them to some extent.

Are you good at multitasking when you play online poker?

I can handle a bit of multitasking during online poker, like listening to music or chatting lightly, but too much distraction definitely hurts my game. Once I start splitting attention between several things, I miss betting patterns and make weaker decisions more often.

Playing poker online: mobile app of website

I mostly play through desktop poker clients, but I’ve used mobile apps casually too when I just want a few quick games. Honestly, the good apps are usually the ones connected to established poker sites because they feel smoother and more secure. I normally use PokerStars or ParryPoker.

Do You Always Update Your Apps When Available

I always update apps when the updates are available. I am not sure if updates actually are better but I do it out if habit

What will you do if a poker site rip you off?

I once filed a complain but nothing came out. Maybe it did, I didn't follow it for long. I just moved on to other site.

Do you prefer PC or Mobile for playing online poker?

I prefer PC for online poker most of the time. It’s just easier to multi-table, see everything clearly, and stay focused during longer sessions. Mobile is fine for quick games, though.

Do you prefer download or web-based poker?

I prefer the downloaded client for poker. It usually runs smoother, handles multiple tables better, and feels more stable during longer sessions. Web-based poker is convenient if I’m on the go, but for serious play I’d rather use the full client so I don’t deal with lag or limitations.

Does online poker ever piss you off? 😂

Yeah, sometimes it does. Mostly when I lose big pots where I am ahead or run into weird variance streaks. But I’ve learned it’s part of online poker.

What will you do if a poker site rip you off?

If a poker site actually ripped me off, I’d escalate to their licensing authority. And stop using that site immediately.

Do you think webcam tables would work for online poker?

I think webcam poker tables could work for some players, especially people who miss the social side of live poker. Seeing reactions and expressions might make games feel more authentic. The downside is privacy and comfort though, because a lot of online players prefer staying anonymous while...

How often do you go on vacations

I like to go on a vacation too frequently but because if cost, I don't go too often. Usually I go for a vacation twice a year

Hey all. I've been playing mobile poker apps (PPPoker, X-Poker,PokerBros, ClubGG) for a couple of years, mostly in Asian clubs.Built a comparison directory at poker-catalog where I track rakebackrates, club traffic, and agent reliability. Happy to answerquestions about the mobile poker world — it's a niche mosttraditional poker players don't know much about.
