How do you read someone in poker?

I usually pay more attention to patterns than dramatic physical tells. While playing poker, betting size, timing, hesitation, and how someone plays certain hands repeatedly can tell you a lot of things.

How much of your table image is actually within your control?

I think part of your table image is controllable, like how often you play hands, bet sizing, reactions, and how talkative you are. But some of it gets created automatically by short-term results. Sometimes people think you’re wild or tight based on just a few hands.

Do you play differently when you’re confident vs. unsure?

Yeah, definitely. When I’m confident, I make faster decisions and apply more pressure in the right spots. When I’m unsure, I become more cautious and passive. Forcing action while uncertain usually costs me chips more than missing a marginal opportunity.

What's the biggest strategic mistake you see recreational players make ?

The biggest mistake I believe recreational poker players usually make is playing too many hands just because they’re bored or curious. Most of the time, losses come from refusing to fold marginal spots. Chasing draws without proper odds and calling down emotionally instead of thinking through...

What resources do you recommend for improving your poker game ?

You can check hand history reviews, watch strategy videos, join poker forums, and also watch strong players play and explain their decisions. I learned more from discussing real hands and mistakes than from memorizing charts alone.

Do You Get Affected By Table Lighting and Noise When Making Poker Decisions?

I get affected. Bad lighting or a noisy table can make it harder for me to stay focused during long sessions. I seem to make better decisions when the environment feels calmer, especially in deeper games where concentration really matters.

Are solvers ruining the fun of poker for recreational players?

Yeah, a little sometimes. Recreational poker used to feel more instinctive and social, but now some games feel overly technical because of solvers and study culture.

Is Confidence More Important Than Skill in Poker?

Confidence helps a lot in poker, especially when you’re bluffing or handling pressure, but skill matters way more in the long run. Sometimes confident players go broke because they overestimated themselves.

Have you been so upset over a losing session that you couldn't sleep?

Thankfully this hasn't happened to me yet. I haven't lost a lot of money while playing poker or even gambling

What's your biggest tilt trigger and how do you handle it?

Bad beats when I get it in good are my biggest tilt trigger in poker. It’s annoying when the math is right but it still goes wrong.

How do you manage downswings without losing confidence?

I try not to treat every downswing like proof I’m playing badly, because poker can be brutal even when you make the right decisions. Usually I lower my stakes a bit.

Is cryptocurrency inching closer to mainstream financial infrastructure?

Cryptocurrency does seem closer to mainstream financial infrastructure today than it was a few years ago. Banks, payment companies, investment firms, and even some governments are slowly integrating crypto-related services.

Do deposit bonuses actually influence your choice of poker site?

Deposit bonuses catch my attention, but they’re not my main factor. I usually look at traffic, software quality, withdrawal speed, and reputation first. A good bonus helps, but only if the site feels reliable.

Most secure deposit method for online poker?

Bank transfers and regulated e-wallets like Skrill are generally considered most secure due to strong regulations and fraud protection. Crypto is fast, but security depends on user wallet management.

Should poker sites offer more deposit flexibility or fewer options?

More deposit flexibility is better because it increases accessibility and user convenience across regions. However, too many poorly vetted options can raise security risks, so sites should balance variety with strict payment security and compliance standards.

What reason would a poker withdrawal be rejected?

Withdrawals can be rejected due to incomplete verification, mismatched payment details, bonus wagering requirements not met, suspected fraud, or violation of site terms. Sometimes technical or banking issues also temporarily block processing.

What Bitcoin wallet do you use?

I use coinbase wallet. It is multi currency self custody wallet.

Do you look for deposit bonuses when making a deposit on poker sites?

As far as I know, players do notice deposit bonuses, and they can influence choice if the site is already trusted. Having said that most people still prioritize security, game traffic, and withdrawal reliability first.

Are crypto deposits becoming the standard for poker sites?

Crypto deposits are becoming much more common on poker sites, but they’re not quite the universal standard yet. A lot of people are still afraid to use crypto

Ever had issues depositing on a poker site?

I’ve had a few deposit issues before, mostly payment verification delays and occasional declined transactions. That’s why I prefer sites with smooth crypto deposits, fast processing, and clear support when something goes wrong.

Hey all. I've been playing mobile poker apps (PPPoker, X-Poker,PokerBros, ClubGG) for a couple of years, mostly in Asian clubs.Built a comparison directory at poker-catalog where I track rakebackrates, club traffic, and agent reliability. Happy to answerquestions about the mobile poker world — it's a niche mosttraditional poker players don't know much about.
