That's a good thing.
We get daily players. Some are addicts and eventually have to be helped. Most know when to stop, are retired, and mainly there for the social aspects of it but still usually win quite a bit.
Being an employee of a casino, I'm not sure if I'd want to be a patron in one for that long.
Maybe once or twice a quarter or something like that would be okay :)
Yeah and online poker has really evolved over the years.
I remember some years back when it kind of just got out there. It wasn't the best.
I think it's pretty much gamification now!
Fulltime sounds wonderful because you're doing what you're passionate about.
But...
It's such a gamble. Pun intended, LOL.
You rely on making a living through a gamble. If it doesn't go good for you, you don't make money and then what?
It's hard to make enough and then quit. Am I right? You...
That's what I am.
The eye in the sky.
I've seen plenty cheat on that. Mainly post-bet. But I've yet to see it in person while at a game.
It's interesting seeing it on camera though. Most of the suspects think they got away but all they would have had to do is look up. Some people think those...
I suppose if it is all in fun and everyone agrees, then it's okay.
However, if it's causing drama, it can only result in a toxic game. That could cause arguments and even physical altercations. Then you'll get security involved, maybe gaming commission agents and someone could get trespassed...
It isn't to say that some casinos do a bad job at it, though. I'm sure that's the case.
But in most cases, gaming commissions that control their internal controls probably require it and will audit for it.
Most bad audits can result in big fines for the house.
Sometimes there isn't. You can get into the very rural areas where tribal has the only casino and you'd have to drive hundreds of miles to get to another one.
I think online gaming is what people are getting more and more into though.
Especially sports wagering.
It is typically only illegal when devices are used.
Knowing how to count is just being intelligent. There is no crime in that.
But using a device to do it for you is knowingly cheating because something else is being used.
Most casinos will cut the deck in half, back you off BJ, or ask to see...
I think most probably don't want to, lol.
But I don't see why they can't. Many players are at the same level of advanced playing as the dealers, some are even better than them and we of course allow them to play.
Most casinos won't let the dealer play at their facilities, though.
I can even...
Just remember, there might be people watching you that you don't even see.
Cheating is a good way to get trespassed from the casino. Sometimes, you might even get arrested.
And you can't even really justify cheating because you're conning everyone on the table out of their chance to win by...
Do you take advantage of casino reward programs?
This is where you earn points for play.
Many houses will comp you rooms, freeplay, and even meals.
Do you use these services at all?
