Crypto has been the best way I have found to receive my poker winnings. I have found that crypto has been fast and easy to use when withdrawing my winnings, and I can't fault that method.
I would like ot see more places offer PayPal for withdrawals, though.
I would say that it depends on the individual as to whether playing poker is harder than trading forex or vice versa.
I personally would say that trading forex is harder for me than playing poker because I have played poker in the past, but have very little knowledge of trading forex.
Scammers are one of the big challenges that many will face when it comes to P2P crypto trading. Unfortunately, in a world of crypto, as much as you can trust some people, there will always be those who are very clever in gaining your trust, but will, in the end, scam you.
It is not too often I go on long road trips or even long trips on public transport, but when I do, I always find that ensuring I take my tablet with games on helps a great deal. I know that even travelling via public transport or via your own transport, you can charge your device, so having...
One lesson that I know has helped many when it comes to gambling and preventing them from getting deeper and deeper into debt is to stop while you can and walk away. The longer you stick around and continue with the same pattern, the worse it will get. You need to get that willpower and be...
Speaking up is the best thing you can do when it comes to taking a huge step towards financial recovery. Being in debt is never easy at all, and it can cause a lot of issues. Many are usually too scared to speak up, but not speaking up only makes things worse.
Even if you speak up and get the...
I would say that the two biggest red flags that gambling is becoming a problem would be that the game you are playing when gambling no longer is fun to you anymore and you are only bothered about winning and will keep playing until you win, and also when you start to borrow money to keep gambling.
If I won big on the lottery, the first thing I would do is pay off any outstanding debts that I have, so they would all be cleared, and I would no longer have to worry about them. I would then consider helping out family members with debts or anything else they need help with.
After helping...
I can't say I have caught anyone cheating at official poker games that take place at licensed establishments, but whenever I have played poker for fun at home with family, I have experienced it. That doesn't bother me too much as it is playing for fun, but in a proper game of poker for real...
If I were to get a big win, I would post it online, as you never know who may be looking for a solid place to play poker in which they could have some luck too. I think it would be quite overkill to post every win that I got on a poker site, big and small.
Those big wins, though, don't come...
Dealing with poker loneliness, especially online, can't be something that is easy to deal with at all. I do know that there are many poker communities online and also on Discord who would be more than welcoming to those looking for new friends and people to talk to with a strong interest in...
I completely agree, they would be inundated with new players just wanting to get that new player treatment, and it could cause a lot of issues for the owners of the sites.
I would be very shocked if any site gave special treatment to new players on poker sites.
I would imagine if sites started giving new players cards that would guarantee wins, it would cause an uproar and one most companies wouldn't want.
I am pretty sure, even though some new players may get lucky, all players get randomly generated cards to ensure fairness.
I can't say that I have ever been playing poker on a site and ended up with it crashing out on me, but I can imagine the frustration of those it has happened to, especially if the poker game they were playing was for real money.
Has anyone ever had an issue when contacting support regarding it...
I would say the right time to stop gambling is when you are losing more than you are putting in, or it stops becoming fun for you and a form of entertainment.
Some people can get so used to winning that they will keep going without thinking about how much they are losing.
I have played slots in the past, but I wouldn't say that I play too often, as it can become addictive. I tend to play slots at arcade places close to where I live in moderation.
I would definitely say that gambling is done as a means of entertainment as long as it is done in moderation and the person knows when to stop. It is when it starts to become an addiction, and the person gambling does not know when to stop, that is when it stops being a form of entertainment.
I have in the past placed bets on sports and such for a little fun, but I would never do it to make any kind of money. I only bet to have some fun, and once I win or lose, I tend to just walk away, either with what I won or take the loss and move on.
I wouldn't say that I go out of my way to celebrate my birthday. I tend to spend it with family, have a takeaway, maybe a small drink and have fun either playing video games or listening to music and just having fun.
