I completely agree, they would be inundated with new players just wanting to get that new player treatment, and it could cause a lot of issues for the owners of the sites. I would be very shocked if any site gave special treatment to new players on poker sites.

I would say the right time to stop gambling is when you are losing more than you are putting in, or it stops becoming fun for you and a form of entertainment. Some people can get so used to winning that they will keep going without thinking about how much they are losing.
