News Online Casino, Poker Legislation Filed In Washington, D.C.

All these new regulations talk is good on paper, but the execution matters too. We’ve seen things like this before, they will promise protection and at the end of the day the players still suffer it. If they can really regulate it well, it will improve the trust. But for now, I am still very...

What Are the Early Signs Tell You a Table Is Profitable?

Spotting a profitable table is not a magic, it's observation. If you see plenty of limping, random calls, people chasing nonsense draws, just know there is going to be a big profit there. You should try this and thank me later.

    Beginners Luck

The beginners luck is real, but it does not last. I’ve seen new guys hit crazy hands back-to-back and everybody was looking it like it was a film. But give them time, reality will set in. Even me when I start, I thought it was an easy money, but it was not. It takes a lot of hardwork.

How Do Some Players Manage To Win Consistently in Low-Stakes Games?

People overcomplicate low-stakes winning. The truth is that patience and discipline is more than all this fancy strategy. I used to chase every hand, thinking I am smart and I ended up losing steadily. Then, when I calm down, pick better spots, things changed.

Do you change your strategy when you’re the short stack at a final table?

Short stack on final table and you are still playing gentle? If I’m short, I use calculated aggression. I learnt that you need to pick the spots quickly.

Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano Netflix Card - How Many Viewers Will It Draw?

Netflix fight hype will attract crowd no doubt. I remember when the last big fight happen, the stadium was filled up. But we shouldn't lie, hype carries almost half of these events. If the fight didn't deliver, next time people would think before they spend their money.

What's the most money you've ever won or lost in a single poker session?

The biggest win/loss story is where the real character is. I once won big, felt like king, the next day I entered game with overconfidence. I lost almost everything back. Since then, I don't let one good or bad session change my mindset.

Shot-taking strategy: how do you do it?

Shot-taking is not about the fun alone. Many people are jumping into higher stakes when they just had a small win. I tried that thing once, I lost everything same night. It was a very painful lesson. Now I only take shots when I get a proper reason, not when I am emotionally high.

When to Shift Gears in a Tournament

You are asking when to shift gears like it's a fixed timetable. You are supposed to read the table, not the clock. Poker is not like a school timetable, it needs a street sense.

    Re-Entry Strategy: Worth the Risk?

Re-entry is interesting but it can deceive a lot of people. They could be splashing chips early like it's a demo account. I tried it once, I re-entered like 3 times, before I knew it my whole week profit has vanished.

News Alex Foxen Ties PGT Record with 13th Title

That Foxen guy is a machine 😅 consistency at that level is not about luck. But we shouldn't deceive ourselves, that stage is very far from the average player's life.

News Carnegie Mellon Stats Professor Hosts Sports Betting Class

That kind of class makes sense. Many people entered into betting without understanding the probability. If I had that kind knowledge early, i would avoid some mistakes. With how the youths are rushing into gambling now because of money pressure, education like this can open their eyes.

Cash Game Etiquette: What New Players Should Know

Etiquette is not optional, it's respect. I discussed it today with a friend when one guy delayed the play, everybody was annoyed. It tells you that simple things like acting on time and being clear saves you plenty of stress.

Cash Game Etiquette: What New Players Should Know

Do you think dice gambling is based more on luck or strategy?

I still do not think this is debatable. There is clearly no two ways to this because it is purely based on luck. You can't possibly play a dice with any strategy.

    Are crypto dice games trustworthy?

I have played crypto dice and it smell fishy to me. I have seen many people lose there. I test it with just a small amount of money, I don't really like it to be honest. I don't think I can experiment with such a risky platforms again. It's better safe than sorry.

Do you consider poker a hobby or a job?

Yes, it is! Because if you start depending on poker as your primary income, a lot of pressure will set in. Me, I treat it like side hustle, any time I win, it's like a bonus. Peace of mind is better than forcing yourself to grind when your head is not even settled to do so.

What poker software or tools have you used, and which ones would you recommend?

Those poker tools can confuse you if you are not so careful. There was a time I relied on stats too much, I forgot that it's people that are behind those numbers. This is exactly why I stopped using heavy software. I prefer simple notes and experience now.

What’s your preferred method for deposits and cashouts?

Crypto is fine but the volatility is never a joke. You might be lucky to cash out today, but the value could drop tomorrow. So, I try to mix it with the normal methods we are used to because I like stability. But I don't keep large funds there.

Do you look for deposit bonuses when making a deposit on poker sites?

Bonus is quite interesting but it could be a trap sometimes 😅 If you see 100% bonus, you would jump on it, later you would see the wagering requirements that is hard to achieve. This is exactly why I stopped chasing every promo. If the platform is not solid, the bonus won't save you.
