At what point is your bankroll ‘too big’ for your current stake?

I’ve been thinking about my bankroll situation lately.

On StockPoker, my bankroll is actually too big for the stakes I’m playing. A big part of that is because, outside of the home games, most of the tournaments are hyper turbos. I still enjoy playing micro stakes though, it’s more relaxing, and you can still make decent money when you run well.

On DarksidePoker, my bankroll is smaller, but the tournament buy-ins are more in line with the stakes I usually play, so it feels like a better fit overall.

What do you guys think? At what point is your bankroll “too big” for the stakes you’re playing?

I don't really believe that my bankroll can become too big if the games still give you value. People are always rushing to move up because their ego starts whispering. They just need to calm down first. If you are consistently beating micro stakes and enjoying the sessions, nothing is wrong with staying there until better opportunities show up.
