Can poker dealer unduly influence a poker game negatively?

I don't think a poker dealer can be able to influence the game. Now, there are so many surveillance cameras in casino especially in areas like poker live games. Though, some poker dealer can lack courtesy and manner of approach but i doubt if it can influence the poker game negatively!

I was in a casino once and playing cards the dealer was talking a lot and a player Asked him what should he do the dealer advised him

i think they can affect the gm , we all seen bad dealers or cheats , probaly more common in other gms than holdem but ?

It isn't hard to believe players and dealers collude. Playing local poker rooms, many dealers are friends with the regulars.

I agreed with you! It's absolutely necessary for the dealer to maintain professionalism and focus on the job. They shouldn't interfere in the game but I believe that it's still going to be difficult for dealer to influence the game with cameras and oversight in place.

This is the very reason I prefer playing in a poker house that has good CCTV cameras. With this attitude of talking too much, the attention of the dealer can easily be diverted to something else. And before you know it, everyone is confused. That's why the surveillance camera would come to the rescue and is being reviewed to clear the loss of attention of the dealer.
