Most of you know, I strongly prefer to play tournaments. I usually avoid cash games, because in the past I buillt a big bankroll playing cash games, and took a rough loss I cant shake off(years later). I don't want to get mad at poker like that again, so I just avoid them. This also happened multiple times for me to just full out quit cash games. I did play above my bankroll, but those runs also allowed me to move up stakes quicker than I normally would.

I use to get a rush every time I'd win big pots. Do you get an adrenaline rush when you win at cash games?

Yeah! I think the thrill is more fun that the winning. Not only in poker, in every gambling, winning do push up adrenaline rush and outburst of joy. Sometimes, the feeling can be quite difficult to control. Last week, i could not be able to contain myself when chelsea beat PSG three goals to nothing.

As a core proponent of cash games in poker, I have that first hand experience of the adrenaline pump in cash games and that is the major appeal for me. There is this massive feeling that comes from winning a very big pot and stacking a big opponent. I have won some and had my fair share of losses too. But that same rush is what makes me play again and again.

It has to depend on the stakes. I don't get an adrenaline rush when I do micro-stakes but when it comes to big money, my heart would be pounding.
