I play better when I am winning because I feel I am in control. But the danger is when you are not careful. You could start to play too loose. When I am losing, I usually play too tight and that makes me miss out on so many goodies.

Tight players usually do well in tournaments because they’re patient and wait for strong hands. You can get away with playing tight during the early stages, but as the blinds and levels increase, you have to open up your range or the blinds will slowly eat away at your stack. Cash games are a different game altogether, where having strong reads on your opponents can be even more valuable.

I think I play better when I am losing. That's because I think twice before making decision, I always watch my bankroll. When I start winning, I am easily carried away and I end up making bad decisions.
