Do you ever lose confidence in your playing abilities because variance has been hitting you hard? How do you refocus so you can continue to bring your A game?

I usually get my chips/money all in during favorable situations(winning percentage), after that it's out of my hands. Sometimes, I admittedly avoid being a slight favorite in order to advance in a tournament, for example if there's multiple all ins ahead of me. I can get frustrated during downswings, but I try to always keep my confidence, and never give up grind it out, until it's over. I also take breaks when I need to cool down, or even after a couple bad beats.

It's important for me to approach poker with a clear state of mind. The old me has tilted a lot, and I learned from past mistakes.

Life is like a game of poker: it is not about what cards you are dealt, but how you play them.
