Have you ever played with a cheater?

There's always cheaters in any kind of game you play and poker isn't an exception. There are some players whom have been banned at Casinos because they were caught cheating.

What's your experience with playing so far? Have you encountered a cheater?

I only go to standard casinos, so the event of a cheater turning up their is pretty low. I haven't personally came across one, or should I say I have not caught one?

I am sure we have all played with cheaters. I can't say that I've noticed anything beyond soft playing spouses or friends. It's annoying but hard to prove. Thes types of players don't usually have much of a killer instinct and are easier to beat.

I've been ripped off/scammed before when trading poker funds from one site to another. The other player didn't keep up their end of the deal after I transferred funds. Luckily, that's only happened to me once, and it wasn't for a lot of money. I've seen stories of others getting scammed. I've even had to ban members from my old Facebook group for trying to scam my members.

It’s rather unfortunate that there are so many cheaters in the game of poker and I have encountered them especially in online poker games. I have witnessed a player using software to track opponents' moves which gives him an unfair advantage. That's crazy.

I have not encountered such but i know that majority of poker players are likely to cheat except when the coast is not clear especially once cash is involved. Now most poker platforms have upgraded that it is almost impossible to cheat in game of poker.

To be honest, I like the couple of changes those handling those online poker sites have made. It has made it almost impossible for those playing the game to cheat. I can't even deal with playing with a rival who is looking for every means to cheat while we are playing the game.

I think cheating is somewhat part of the game! It is game of the mind which craftiness is highly demanded.

No, thankfully I haven't run into any cheaters that I know of. I mostly play at reputable places with good security, so maybe that helps. I'm probably not experienced enough to spot the subtle stuff anyway. I'd hate to deal with that situation. it would really kill the fun of the game for me.
