If you struggle with remaining calm, you'll have a hard time being a winning player. I think it's vital for any player to be on top of their emotions, and avoid tilting.

If you start feeling frustrated because of run bad, breaks always help to refresh the mind. Even a 15-30 minute break can do a lot for the mind. There is poker running 24/7, so there's no rush to play another game. I try to play every game with a level head.

I won't bother playing if I'm feeling down, because it wasn't my day. You can't win them all.

Have you ever let your emotions get the best of you while playing poker? What are ways to prevent yourself from tilting after coolers or run bad?

Controlling my emotions is an essential aspect in poker. Through experience, I have developed the ability to detect my tilt signals and I constantly remind myself that the game is unpredictable and could come with losses.

One of the benefit of poker game is that it test your ability to control your emotions. Professional poker players never lose their cool. Once your emotions get better part of you, you are likely to get yourself tilted.

Emotional control plays a very big role in poker. You must be able to recognize and manage your emotion effectively especially during tough moments as this will help you stay focused and in making the right decision.
