Chelsea won 5 consecutive EPL matches to boots their charge to the English Premier League title race, although they weren't quick to admit they were in the title race. It didn't take long for them to drop points in 4 consecutive matches.

They are still in it. This is just the half part of the season, and I expect teams like Liverpool to still drop points, just like they did against Manchester United last night. So, all Chelsea needs is to focus on playing better as a team in the second part of the season.

One weakness noticed in Chelsea is irregularity. They demonstrated a bit of the potential when they bagged 5 wins in a row but to lose points for 4 games in a row is a disadvantage. I do not think they are going to come anywhere near the other top sides.
