Sports betting can be fun when it is controlled, but if done uncontrollably, it can lead to addiction. This obsession comes from various reasons, for instance, winning thrills or wanting to recover your losses, which have led some into betting in excess. I see betting as a form of entertainment and, if controlled, can be a harmless way of having fun. I don't allow betting to begin disrupting my personal life, finances, or mental health.

Sports betting can be addictive especially when a gambler is not properly engaged! Unemployed and greediness makes gambling seems as the only likely way to escape lack of money. Personally, i have experienced it and i know it is dangerously addictive.

The nature of sports betting which just requires one to predict correctly sporting events to win easy money is what makes it very addictive. The idea that the money doesn't really need to be worked is why many people spend the majority of their times and energy on sports betting.
