Do you engage in any of the chatrooms/chatboxes that might be available when you're playing online poker?

Do you like to talk to your opponents to try and get any reads, or even just make light-hearted conversation, or are you a strictly focus-on-the-hand kind of player?

I occasionally chat with players online in the game chat. I usually don't partake in the chat until I folded my hand, or won a pot. I don't typically use the chat to gather information on opposing players. It's usually a big tell when someone tells you to bring it on in chat that they've got a monster hand.

It all depends on the game and the vibe of the table! Sometimes, a bit of light-hearted chat can make things more fun, and you might even pick up some reads. Other times, I prefer to stay focused.
