Should casinos ban phones at the table entirely?

I watched a game and one guy kept checking his phone with every hand. To me, that is a distraction. Banning phones fully might not work, but there should be restrictions during active hands. A total ban might not work.
 
Most ask that you don’t use them at the table game.

Lots of people take selfies at tables and slots. Dealers and floor people are usually good about telling them they can’t at the pit.

But around slots, most get away with it unless it’s becoming a problem for other patrons.

But just remember, Surveillance can easily Zoom in and see what’s in the phone and in most cases, they’re in their legal right to do so.
 
I think in most scenarios phones should be banned as they are already(streamers, first timers etc should get more leeway).
Rules are there for a reason.

Stops any potential collusion as well.
