Should PPC Add a Chat Ban Feature?

As we continue developing the PlayPoker software, I’m considering adding a feature that would allow admins or moderators to chat ban individual players.​

A chat ban would prevent a player from sending messages in the lobby or table chat while still allowing them to play normally. This could be useful for dealing with spam, excessive trash talk, harassment, or players who repeatedly violate chat rules without needing to remove them from the game entirely.

I’m curious what everyone thinks before I add it.

Should PlayPoker have a chat ban feature for individual players? If so, should chat bans be temporary (e.g., 10 minutes, 1 hour, 24 hours) or allow permanent bans for repeat offenders?

I don’t think it wouldn’t hurt to at least have it precautionary measure I’m sure some players might find it very useful. I would probably definitely use that if it was becoming a destruction during a game.
