Why do people get addicted to gambling?

People enter into gambling out of thrill, peer pressure, or a simple escape. But I'm a bit different because my uncle owns a pool shop and I worked there as a clerk since I was younger and after graduating from college, I started a sports betting shop( probably the pioneer agent of Bet9ja) and a Premier Lotto agent when I couldn't get a white collar job. The potential winnings can also induce us to take to gambling as well. Why do people get addicted to gambling?

People enter gambling because they think that it is easy money making with gambling. If they manage to get their first gambling wins, they would not want to go back on the money that doesn't require them to make any efforts.

It is greediness that is making people to be addicted to gambling. Some dudes are extraordinarily greedy and want to free money always. Another factor that causes gambling addiction is unemployment. If you are busy, you can hardly think of gambling. Gambling is a pastime vocation of unemployed people.

Based on my findings lately, quick wins tend to be a real problem among the addicts to gambling. Those small wins are very enticing and those are actually the baits to keep luring them in. How the bookmakers did this is what I haven't find out.
