What's your experience with playing online poker but suddenly, the site crashed? Server crash is a big problem for online poker games. My friend had real-time problems and outages when playing Pokerstars.

Which online poker games have you experienced server crash?

ACR Poker or AmericasCardroom use to do it regularly, and refunded the buy-ins. I'm not sure if it still happens.

I don't play there anymore.

That can be frustrating. I've not played at their site before, and this is one good reason not to get close to such site. What if I am on the verge of winning huge?

I'm pretty sure that 100% of sites that I have played crashed at one time or another.

Not exactly poker, but there was a betting site I was playing a live game on that crashed. Thankfully, my funds were not affected.

Problems such as site crashes can be really annoying. Luckily, your money was not lost. This is why it's good for the accounts to be secured.

There's no player who would be interested in playing on such a site for a long time because it's going to keep messing up with your game.

I've had it happen once before and it's extremely annoying, but it happens with any online game.

I have never encountered an online site while playing poker. However, I understand the annoyance that a crashing site brings during a game. It distracts from the joy and excitement.

I have experienced site failures during critical moments and it can be frustrating. A supportive customer care is very vital in minimizing interruptions of this kind.

Though, i have not experienced it but it will be excruciating and frustrating experience. Personally, i noticed that most poker sites use to have servers that use to lag behind. I believe the lagging is caused by too many requests at that particular time.

I have experiencd a site crash on me while playing a poker cash game. The poker site took like 3 hours to get back online. When they came, they reverted to the stack size before the hand started. All my chips were returned.

Sadly this has happened a few times over the years, some were big ev spots others not so bad. i tend to forget about these spots quick or it affects my mental for the next game, depending on the stage of MTT sometimes you get buyin back if early, ive also had icm chop when itm, all sites are different with how they deal with it in my experience. ACR was the worst for crashing and there was a stage it happened every other sunday a couple years back. they were efficient in paying out T$ i think it was but they were targeted attacks from what i can remember. might be wrong. In general sites are safe and wont leave you out of pocket

I've heard a couple of bad experiences with sites crashing while I was playing poker with the most evident being on Unibet. When it happened on Unibet, I was really angry, but they restored it with no loss of resources.

I've heard about the issue that happened with GGPoker to the extent that it affected one big event that they organised where five million dollars was at stake. It was big news back in those days even though they later got the matter under control.

I can't say that I have ever been playing poker on a site and ended up with it crashing out on me, but I can imagine the frustration of those it has happened to, especially if the poker game they were playing was for real money.

Has anyone ever had an issue when contacting support regarding it when it has happened?

Yes, I've had the experience with so many online video games all the time. As for online poker, whenever it happens, the trusted sites do well to refund the players.

This is the reason one should be careful of which site that they are going to be playing poker on. Pick the trusted ones for rest of mind even when they face any challenges with how they do things.

Security of funds is one thing to look out for when choosing poker websites to use. If they don't offer guarantees on such glitches, it's not worth it putting your hard earned money on them. They might deny or reject your withdrawal over a silly reason.

This is the challenges some poker players faced in the past and I am glad that we are now having more reliable sites available to us right now that ensure funds used to play games don't have any funny story attached to it.

Websites can crash. It's not just something that's limited to only poker websites. Last week, Amazon crashed, yesterday Cloudfare crashed and so many other occurrences. If a poker websites crashed, I wouldn't fuss too much about it as long it comes back online and refund me.
