Poker can be played both online and offline. It depends on which one a player is more comfortable with that's convenient for him that he choose to. Although, there are players who play both online and offline.

Between playing online and offline, which one do you prefer and why do you prefer it over the other one?

I prefer to play online poker than offline poker. My reason for enjoying online more than offline is because due to my having social anxiety, it means I can still play with real people without the need to be around them or even have to talk to them if I don't wish to.

Playing online will always give me an opportunity to reflect and play better. I have played offline just a couple of times with friends who came to see me during weekends.

I've not tried online. I think I would prefer to play games of "real money" offline in a casino or video poker room.

Of course, I would go for video poker, as I have some background in it.

Am introvert and casino use to be rowdy with a lot of people with diverse personalities. I prefer online games where interpersonal interaction is highly limited. I can only play offline with friends who i know better.

I like playing poker in person better. I can see people's faces and spot when they might be bluffing. Online is easier since you can play from home anytime, but sitting at a real table with friends, chatting and handling actual chips is more fun and special. Online games just don't feel the same, even if they're more practical.

Both have their advantages. The online poker system is convenient and offers a wider range of games and stakes. But playing off-line makes it more social and gives room to read the physical movement of the opponents which could be useful for one's strategies.

It depends on your preference. Both have their perks.I tend to go with live poker because it has unique social experience and you can also read body language there but those things are not visible in online poker.

The atmosphere of playing live is way better, but I haven't played live in years. I do prefer it though. I only play online poker now, but I am planning a trip to Montreal where I may play a tournament or two at Playground Poker.

I've never played live, just online

It is online poker for me. I always like to play with people I might interact with physically. Online poker gives me that leaverage so I'm good with it

I prefer playing online poker to offline poker because it's easier and convinient compare to offline poker that has alot of disadvantage but sometimes I play poker offline but I don't just like it
