Have you ever tried to count cards in Blackjack?

I once tried counting cards in blackjack after watching one YouTube video. But I confused myself and started pressing random moves. Has anyone actually tried card counting before?

Whenever I play blackjack, I try to count cards. I am not good at it and I always do the wrong math. Counting cards will help you determine whether you have an advantage on the next hand or the dealer has an advantage. If you want to win, you should certainly count cards.
