Even within poker, many players avoid switching formats like cash games, tournaments, or short deck. Is this due to comfort, fear of learning curves, or belief in specialization? Do you think versatility across formats is an advantage or a distraction from mastery?

. Imagine being respected in tournaments then entering cash games and getting punished immediately. Not everybody likes starting from beginner level again.
