A few early wins in a session can create overconfidence, leading to higher bets or looser decisions. Is this a cognitive bias or simple excitement? Have you noticed yourself taking more risks after a positive start than you normally would?

Small wins can create a false sense of confidence. After a few successful outcomes, some gamblers start feeling like they’ve figured something out or are playing especially well, even when luck played a big role. That confidence can lead to larger bets, looser decisions, and taking risks they would normally avoid.

When you win, you develop confidence. It does not matter whether the win is small or big, winning always give you confidence. However, there is a thin line that divides confidence with overconfidence. When you become overconfident, you start making mistakes

Small wins are sometimes more dangerous than heavy losses. Early success gives fake confidence quickly. You start increasing bets because you believes you’ve figured it out. And one reckless move can wipe all the profit. Gambling psychology is funny. After small success, caution disappears and excitement takes over.
