It's 100% possible for sites that operate using Poker Mavens. Owners/admins can view hole cards in the backend. You need to trust the admins before playing at any of those sites.
I know very little on how the value fluctuates, other than it depends on how much cash or coin is in circulation. I enjoy the transparency of crypto because transactions cannot be tracked.

You'd still be able to check your own stats, but everyone else's would be hidden. I'll keep it so my stats are open for everyone to view if the community wants these changes.

It was recently brought to my attention that some members don't like their stats appearing on the leaderboards. I can block/hide stats so members can only view their own stats. Leaderboard points will be viewable by all members, but itm%, cashes..etc will all be hidden.

The #1 reason why I'd leave a poker site is integrity. I want a safe place to play where I feel money is secure. I'd also leave a site if there wasn't a good selection of games/tournaments for me to grind. Promotions are nice, but I'd still play without on-going promotions as long as the games...
