With winter weather around the corner, ACR Poker is gearing up for its highly anticipated annual Winter Online Super Series (WOSS), running from November 10-25. This year’s WOSS boasts an impressive $20 million in guaranteed prize pools and a $35,000 Leaderboard Competition, promising plenty of excitement for poker fans.
The 2024 WOSS follows closely after ACR Poker’s recent success with the Venom series, which featured both No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha PKO Main Events. Both events exceeded their prize guarantees, with the Venom PKOs awarding a combined $8 million. Notably, ‘TruePro’ took home a massive $393,838 in top prize money plus $310,312 in bounty winnings in the NLH PKO Venom.
Designed to appeal to players of all levels and styles, the 2024 WOSS will include 230 events across formats like No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, Turbo, Hyper Turbo, Mega Stack, and Progressive Knockout. ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker expressed his excitement for the series: “Our 2024 Winter Online Super Series is the final big event of an amazing year for ACR. With diverse buy-ins and formats, there’s something for everyone, plus a huge $20 million in guarantees. We look forward to seeing players at the tables.”
Highlights of the 2024 WOSS schedule include two major Main Events: a $1,050 buy-in with a $1.5 million guarantee and a $250 buy-in with a $750,000 guarantee, each offering two Day 1 flights on November 17 and 24. Also on the schedule are three multi-flight Mystery Bounty events with $500,000, $250,000, and $75,000 guarantees, bringing added suspense to the series. Numerous satellite tournaments are available as well, allowing players to win their way into top events at a lower cost.
For those driven by competition, ACR Poker has introduced a $35,000 Leaderboard Competition, with points awarded based on performance in WOSS events. With both Low and High leaderboards, players can compete for rewards regardless of bankroll size, adding even more excitement to the series.
