I've been playing online poker frequently but notice unusual patterns in card distribution. Are online poker games secretly rigged by the platforms to create more exciting hands or keep players engaged? What security measures exist to ensure fairness, and how can players verify the legitimacy of these digital games?

From what I understand, reputable online poker sites use random number generators to shuffle and deal cards. These RNGs are randomly reviewed by third-party companies, which are pretty much an external auditors. But then again, there are times when very strange occurrences can happen because of the randomness of the game.

Some poker sites may be rigged. Especially acr poker.

You’ll have to keep track of the games and see how often things happen & report your findings to the community.

I do believe some online poker sites are fixed. Most the bigger sites are safe, but I think ACRPoker has a questionable RNG(Random Number Generator). I also think a lot of smaller sites that use Poker Mavens are scams(some good ones), and I heard there's a feature in the backend where an admin can trigger a "doom switch" on account.

@OVERTOP69 said he seen this feature in the back office of a Poker Mavens site.

I also think of the RNGs because it could be manipulated but a reputable site would always have it reviewed or audited regularly to improve fairness.

It is a lot easier to manipulate code or set something up to be in more favor of the house, why I prefer in person games.

I'm quite skeptical about online poker sites because they could be manipulated easily. That is why approaching gambling with caution is extremely important.
