Despite all of the advantages associated with its use, like protection of funds against inflation and decentralization, there are numerous obstacles that are associated with crypto adoption.

Do you think that cryptocurrency will become a popular method of payment and become stable? Is it possible for cryptocurrency to function as a regular fiat currency?

I don't think crypto currency will ever replace real currency, it fluctuates too much, but I do think crypto will continue to rise in popularity. There will always be paper money.

That's true! The high fluctions of cryptocurrency make it impossible to use as a direct replacement for fiat money. But its capability for getting a secure and fast transactions make it relevant for some financial services.

Cryptocurrency will not displace paper money even in next 100 years! Paper money will continue to be relevant because people want to have that touch and feeling of money. Paper money give people a sense of wealth and conscious possession of wealth. Secondly, paper money is generally acceptable even in the most primitive and uneducated society. Cryptocurrency is emerging market, there are people who have never heard of cryptocurrency.

Crypto won't ever replace fiat money. I know that crypto and fiat can co-exist in the economy of any country if there are solid regulations about it. No one wishes crypto to replace fiat.

Volatility, regulation, and stability of fiat can not be allowed in Crypto. Though it's gaining popularity as payment options, it can't really be used to replace the fiat currency..

The same question was asked when cards were introduced, but currently cards exist along side fiat money. Therefore, crypto will never replace fiat currency, it will exist along side fiat currency.

Replacement will never happen. One main reason is governments wouldn't want to give up their control over the economy by phasing out fiat currency. But I am pretty sure, crypto and fiat currency will exist together.

That's what I also believe. Both systems would exist side by side.
