I never did formally, but I learned the game from my older brothers, the eldest the most so. (I came from a big family with six kids, me being number three.) My older brother, he taught me a lot of things, including getting started in poker. Ever since he got back from the war he hasn't been the same and we don't play cards any more, but I still remember valuable lessons from the many times we used play cards.

Anyone have a teacher or mentor of poker? What did you learn?

Not any that I know personally. I've learned a lot from players on Twitch. Lex, Spraggy, Fintan, Conorrrrrrr, the streamers at Globaluke unsub, killerbird and Hoss. A few other legends

Same here I learnt from myself and streamers

I was so fortunate to have a very close friend who was actually an experienced poker player. He actually taught me the fundamentals and he often provided some valuable feedback on my games always.

Hey all. I've been playing mobile poker apps (PPPoker, X-Poker,PokerBros, ClubGG) for a couple of years, mostly in Asian clubs.Built a comparison directory at poker-catalog where I track rakebackrates, club traffic, and agent reliability. Happy to answerquestions about the mobile poker world — it's a niche mosttraditional poker players don't know much about.
