Paying taxes is a norm on earnings in any country as far as I can tell but I'm not sure if it's included in earning from gambling and winning from a poker site.

Since you started playing games online using poker sites, have you been paying taxes on all of your earnings withdrawn?

You are suppose too, but I've never claimed any poker winnings on my taxes.

I heard that UK don’t pay taxes on online poker sites

I know the states love to tax anything, so I'm sure most sites have to pay taxes, either on the owners or players.

I don't think tax is being paid on winnings, unless things are different in other places. It is just like sports betting, you don't get taxed on your winnings.

Fortunately in Canada all winnings, whether they be gambling or lottery are tax exempt. We can even claw back much of what is withheld when we win in a US casino.

No, gambling winnings are not taxable in my country. But I know that gambling winnings are considered taxable income in some countries and you have to report your winnings.

In most countries, gambling winning is not taxable. Am fortunate enough to be in one of those countries that don't care much about taxation because billions of dollars are flowing into the country through crude oil business. And unfortunately they don't know what to do with the excess fund but to lot and squander it with reckless abandon.

In New Zealand we pay 0 taxes on poker and lottery winnings thankfully. some european countrys are paying up to 50% i believe

Generally speaking in a lot of countries, especially in the United States, you have to report your online income. Winnings from poker sites aren't any different. If it enters your paypal account or anything like that, they see it. You'll get audited it for it.

Since Donald Trump signed in that 'Big Beautiful Bill' United state's gamblers have lose sleep over the taxation of gambling winning. It is very disheartening that the government will milking the poor for their selfish interests.
