I play poker on the side. Maybe someday when I have a big bankroll I'll play for a living.

Do any of our members play poker for a living? Did you quit your job to pursue your poker dreams? When did you first consider poker to be your job?

I don't play at all! I know one person that plays for money. But not online. Not sure who he gets together with.

Nope, I would hate to live like that, always fearful of a bad day to ruin all my money stockpile.

You'd need to be financially stable to maintain the lifestyle. Also using a small percentage of your bankroll A.K.A bankroll management helps.

I do not play for a living. I just play for fun and generally make a few bucks doing it. I think it would be too stressful to try to make a living at it and I certainly couldn't live on the amount I have won.

Who has that kind of bankroll though? Besides the rich, these days things cost so much, I would think the casinos are hurting.

As much as I do play poker occasionally, I don't play enough to say I would play it for a living. I would imagine it's quite amazing for those who are able to, definitely a dream.

No, I don't play Poker for a living. Even if I have all the money in the world, I wouldn't still choose to play Poker for a living. I know it's gambling in a way which is why I don't want to do it in a way that's going have me addicted to it.

Losing it all while playing games poker can be terrifying. However, life is all about losing and winning, and playing poker to win should be on the mind.

I don't play full time, but I am not scared of losing whenever that I play.

I don't play for a living but some testimonies here make me want to choose that path. However, I must learn to discipline myself and a proper bankroll control is also essential. While some have fantasies about earning a living through poker, quite a number indulge in the game merely for fun.

To play poker for a living is a tall walk which is not for the fainthearted. If you are not financially comfortable, don't consider such path because it will put you in much pressure!
