Just like it have been suggested that playing video games can help to improve gamers cognitive awareness depending on the kind of games you're playing, the same is articulated about playing poker. It's argued that playing poker can improve player's mental abilities, problem-solving skills and sharpening of their decision making skills over a period of time if they play consistently.

Do you believe it's possible for poker to help with someone's memory enhancement?

I believe to an extent that playing poker can help improve your memory as you have to always be thinking about your next move plus the move you made before hand. That goes the brain going and I believe that also helps a lot with improving the memory.

Yes poker works your mind quite a bit and I believe that mind workout does improve your memory. That much I can say. There's not much else to say accept a good mind workout will always improve memory.

I got better at remembering things as a result of playing poker. Trust me when I say that it was one of the best decisions that I took. Being able to remember things is quite good for our personal lives.

I think it does. It helps with your math, as you play more you learn more. Some players study, some learn from experience.

If you learn the math side of poker it can definitely help improve your memory.

Yes, poker have some cognitive benefits especially in the areas of memory, problem-solving skills, and decision-making. The fact that players need to remember cards, analyze patterns, and alter their strategies are exercises that sharpens the mind.

There is possibility that poker can help and improve the memeory because it have much to do with cognitive thinking. Poker is more than a game. Poker game involves much thinking and probability than luck. Therefore, it may help to improve memeory.

One attribute of pro poker players is tracking the patterns of their opponents. They need to always remember each opponent's pattern so that they know how to approach playing against them next time. That alone helps to improve the memory of poker players.

Yeah, definitely. Poker forces you to remember who played which hands, betting patterns, and player tendencies throughout the session. You're constantly tracking pot odds, card combinations, and what cards have been folded. I've noticed my general memory getting better since I started playing more seriously. It's like a workout for your brain.

Poker certainly helps in improving your memory. You need to follow the patterns of opponents betting and memorize the cards that have already been folded and figure out odds in real-time. If you play it regularly, you'll remember things more quickly.

As a player, you have to keep your mind and memory sharp at all times when playing because that's when you spot things that's going help with winning. If you're not good at that, you're going to keep falling victim of being outplayed.

Yeah, that's very correct. For someone like me who struggled so much at maths when I was still in school, playing poker have helped me so much in that aspect.
