I remembered one tournament where one guy wore dark shades. People automatically assumed he was bluffing every hand. I don't know if it helped him or not. For me, I think If your body language is loud, glasses won’t save you. Confidence is serious business, not costume. Sometimes simple composure beats all the extra packaging.

I am not sure why many people think that glasses could save you. Is there some kind of trick involved with this? I think that glasses could certainly make you look more confident though while playing the game.

Since it's possible for someone to spy on others using Meta AI glasses, it should be very much inspected before they wear anything to play. Some players would go to any extent just to cheat and win.

Well, I have seen this in movies as well. Some people have used some specialized glasses to spy on others and cheat their opponent while playing the game. I am not sure if this could ever become a reality if they actually use some kind of special glasses. 🤣

I think sunglasses help some players feel more confident and less exposed, but they’re not some magic way to hide tells. At casual poker tables, they can honestly make you stand out more than blend in. Most good players pay more attention to betting patterns than eye contact anyway.

It will permanently ruin the game of playing poker should using of such glasses is allowed. I can't willing agree to play with someone who's wearing AI glasses to spy on me.

If I were playing a major live tournament, I'd probably wear shades, a hat, and a hoodie to help hide my tells. I'm primarily an online player, so I think it's smart to minimize any edge that experienced live players might gain from reading physical tells. While I know betting patterns and decision-making are still the most important factors, I'd rather not give away any extra information if I can help it.

Hey all. I've been playing mobile poker apps (PPPoker, X-Poker,PokerBros, ClubGG) for a couple of years, mostly in Asian clubs.Built a comparison directory at poker-catalog where I track rakebackrates, club traffic, and agent reliability. Happy to answerquestions about the mobile poker world — it's a niche mosttraditional poker players don't know much about.
