I think one of the most important concepts for new players to learn is that poker is a game of long-term decisions, not short-term results. You can make the right play and still lose the hand, just like you can make a bad play and get lucky.

Other fundamentals I'd recommend focusing on are position, starting hand selection, bankroll management, and understanding pot odds. Many beginners try to play too many hands and chase losses when things aren't going their way.

Learning to be patient and making decisions based on expected value rather than emotions will put you ahead of a lot of new players. The results will come over time if you're consistently making good decisions.

A new to poker should focus on the basics concepts like position, starting hand selection, bankroll management, and pot odds. I see a lot of beginners jump into advanced strategies too quickly, but having a solid grasp of these fundamentals are more important.

New players love learning advanced tricks before understanding the basics. Learning when not to play is often more important than learning when to bluff. I remember when I started, I thought every hand was an opportunity but it was a big mistake.

Hey all. I've been playing mobile poker apps (PPPoker, X-Poker,PokerBros, ClubGG) for a couple of years, mostly in Asian clubs.Built a comparison directory at poker-catalog where I track rakebackrates, club traffic, and agent reliability. Happy to answerquestions about the mobile poker world — it's a niche mosttraditional poker players don't know much about.
