Hi guys! Looking for some feedback on a hand I played recently.
Game / Format: [Ex: $2.20 MTT / Home Game]
Effective Stacks: [Ex: 30 BBs]
Pre-flop: Hero raises in CO with [Ex: A♠ J♠], BB calls.
Flop: [Ex: K♠ 7♦ 2♠] – BB checks, Hero c-bets 33%, BB calls.
Turn: [Ex: 5♣] – BB checks, Hero...?
Would you barrel the turn here to apply pressure, or check behind for equity? Interested to hear your thoughts on line and bet sizing!

How much did you raise preflop with AJ? My standard is usually a min-raise preflop, even when I’m trying to take down the pot. I do pick certain spots to be more aggressive, but I think remaining unpredictable is key.

I learned a lot from Phil Ivey and his approach to tournaments. I remember watching a video where he said he tries to play small pots, and it made me reevaluate why he’s had so much success in tournaments. I think that approach has helped me a lot, along with working on my discipline. Pot control is a very good skill to have.
