It's just like how you recommend movies and TV shows to someone to watch and they do it or make someone start drinking alcoholic beverages or even start smoking for the first time, have you been able to do it with getting someone new to start playing poker?

Was it easy for you to convince the person to start playing? How long did it take you to teach the person how to play?

Nah, I'm not a big gambler, so I don't play enough to drag anyone with me.

Well, I have told a friends to play poker, and the process has been fruitful to us in some way. Before doing that, I usually tell them the risk that is involved and I like to watch how they progress and gain more and more confidence as time goes by.

I've introduced multiple people to poker. They don't play as much as me, but I've definitely gotten some people into the game.

I have also managed to introduce poker to few friends and I am now happy to see some of them grow to embrace the game even more than I do. They were reluctant to play at first but after several home games, they began to love it.

Yes, I always like to introduce my friends to whatever I do which pays me money because I don't like giving one tips, I like showing them how to make money themselves.

No, I haven't. Poker is a game of skills and also a little bit of luck, I wouldn't want to refer a newbie into it because I do not want to take a blame if he looses money.

No, I haven’t encouraged anyone to play poker lately. Most of my friends are busy. If they want to play, they will do so on their own.

No! I avoid telling people about poker especially my friends and relatives because they don't know am a seasoned gambler. Moreover, in my society, gamblers are seen as disillusioned and confused set of people. I don't want to be tagged a chronic gambler.

I have introduced two of my cousins to poker. And they are doing quite well. One has even advanced more than me and always beats me more times on the table. I don't find any guilt introducing someone to poker since it is largely skill based.
