I get the concept, don’t risk more than a small percentage of your bankroll, move down in stakes when you’re losing, avoid going on tilt, but in practice it’s way harder than it sounds. After a bad session, it’s tempting to “win it back” by jumping up in stakes, and after a heater, it feels like you’re invincible.
For those who’ve been playing a while: what rules or habits actually helped you stay disciplined? Do you use strict limits (like X buy-ins per level), or something more flexible? Curious what’s worked in real life, not just in theory.

like I told myself if I break my own rule again, I would just stop playing for one week
